  • The third novel in the Jon Mote series, Woe to the Scribes and the Pharisees, will appear in 2018. See “Works in Progress” for an overview.
  • Do We Not Bleed?, the sequel to the first Jon Mote novel, has won a Merit Award as part of Christianity Today‘s 2017 Book Awards. Jon and Judy return to the group home. It was also chosen as one of the “Favorite Books of 2016” by John Wilson of Books and Culture. See the Books page for more, including an excerpt. Now in paperback.
  • Death Comes for the Deconstructionist won the Fiction category for 2016 in the annual Christianity Today Book Awards. The novel also won the Illumination Award for best fiction (Independent Publisher).
