Well Dan the Man, I want my coroner to determine the cause of unnatural death and my theologian to broaden my understanding of God. Miroslav Volf’s treatment of world religions in his latest on Allah is a good example of a theologian opening up new perspectives on the topic. Right?

Yes, it’s not a new view at all. Paul was dealing with it on Mars Hill in Athens in the first century. And it was an old view even then.
